So, came the Pilgrims.

This week we are celebrating the Pilgrim. The first illegal aliens to step on Plymouth Rock. They came uninvited and without papers. No Green Card. No photo I D. Just jump off the boat and bypass border patrol and customs.

However, the original Americans later on regretted allowing this to happen to their peaceful land. The Pilgrims took jobs from the American. The Pilgrims were a bit standoffish and stayed with their own. Kind of clannish and certainly suspicious of the Americans.

None the less, the out spoken leader of the illegal, Miles Standish, refused to leave. They were not going back to their native country. What were these strange looking buckled down and turkey stealing illegal thinking anyway?

What good could ever come of them? Would these Pilgrims ever fit in to the American culture? “They don’t look any thing like us and they dress a bit oddly. Just look at those goofy hats would ya.”
