An elephant never forgets. Only sometimes.

Did you catch last night the PBS/Front Line special on Banks, Wall Street and bailouts? All of which most Americans are aware of already. It just brought the problem to our attention once again. And we need to be reminded often because our collective memories are oh so short. Remember 1929?

None the less, during this current season of bellicose hyperbole, we need all the reminders we can get. However, phony claims are coming once again from the Banks and the Street width rapid repetition. The defenders of Big Banks, Big Finance, and Big Rip offs are crawling the streets in ever increasing numbers. Mostly in the form of congressmen and Republican presidential candidates. More specifically, from the right. Yes, Republicans are the biggest enablers of Bad Deals for America. Haters of regulations and lovers of dark places. “Take your transparency and shove it,” they might suggest.

Here is where we come in. We must ask the right questions and expect the right answers. So the acid test of their feeble intent is show us the jobs. What happened to all those tax cuts? Where is the trickle down? What happened to manufacturing? Don’t the Republicans remember Jobs-jobs-jobs! And I’m sure the same empty mantra will be shouted once again down the canyons of Wall Street. Later Shouting vociferously in a few short months by delegates to the August Republican convention.

Republicans not too long ago all but guaranteed America jobs if tax cuts are made to the rich. Oh really? Where are they? And why do we need more tax cuts? At least a dozen major tax cuts have been made over the past twenty years. Resulting mostly in very little job creation. More like manufacturing and job loss all sent to china and India.

America is finally waking up to the shallow prattles from the right. Republicans squawking empty promises again and hoping America has forgotten the Wall Street bail out and the big crash of 1929. It really hurt and we will never forget it. No! Not this time and not ever. Republicans! Shut up!

The is Mucho blame to go around. Si Senor.

In regards to the current debate on immigration. Certainly debating why the federal government isn’t more directly involved or making better laws to govern such. My belief is that the current Supreme Court debate of the Arizona and Alabama immigration and racial profiling laws are one based on pure politics. Wanting to blame one person…President Obama.

Consider this, collectively Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H W BushI, and George W BushII had twenty years to make this right. But, didn’t . Why?

The answer, politics. Immigration laws involves too many voting Latinos and Hispanics. A major voting block. Political suicide could come as a result of passing either Amnesty or harsh deporting laws.

All parties involved must sit down together and hammer out a workable law and go with it. The President, Congress, the boarder states, and representatives of the Hispanic community can do this. This should not be a matter of politics. It’s a matter of international law and national immigration law. If America needs young eager workers then speed up the immigration work Visas. Plus tax the immigrants and the places they work for To cover education and medical expenses.

I personally believe Amnesty should be considered for immigrants living here with children. At least get all immigrants on the Tax rolls. It would be best for business and good for America.

However, to hammer Obama for lack of immigration enforcement is ridiculous. You would have to go back to the Eisenhower administration and then go forward and blame all the remaining presidents and their reluctant congresses for this cumulative mess. This problem will never be resolved unless politics is taken out of the equation. But as it stands, it’s politics at its worse.

Why?

Why does talk radio bring out the worst of us all. Men killing teens in Florida and others killing congresswomen in Arizona. Just to take issue with people they disagree with and the right to own a gun. Why?

The Ghoast of Jobs is in my iPhone.

There’s some unfinished business here. Yes, I would like to exhume the ashes of Steve Jobs and let him know there is still work needed on the iPhone. The concept of the iPhone is good but it still needs a little tweeking. Maybe a lot of tweeking. Perhaps needing a good hammer.

Just when you think the jobsPhone is working a okay, it then takes on a mind of its own. Maybe taking on the in-your-face persona of Jobs himself. “I’ll work when I want to.” Or, “I’ll not work when I feel like it.” The iPhone completely goes mute for no reason. The screen goes blank without warning. It has a tendency to fixate on one thing regardless of how many swipes or taps you make and then not move on regardless. What’s going on here? Is Jobs in my phone again? Has he not left this earth yet?

How can a inanimate piece of metal and glass be so recalcitrant? If you were to read Job’s autobiography, you would think the iPhone is controlled by Jobs himself. Never agreeing, always wanting something else, and forever changing its mind. Resisting and ridiculous.

Here! Take this freaking thing back. Where’s my old “Flip-phone?” Better yet, where’s my landline? I want my life and sanity back.

Be sure to read the label.

If Republicans don’t like you all they have to do is call you a “Socialist.” It’s like spray painting you with indelible socialist blue ink. Therefore you are the enemy of the state. A Liberal or Lefty. Labeling poured all over you with no accountability. Just say it and you are it. It doesn’t matter how it might trash your reputation. If they say it, it is so. So there!

So what can we “Socialists” say about Republicans? What labels can we paint with indelible Red paint all over Republicans? Greedy? Maybe. Hoarders of wealth? Possibly. Malefactors of Wall Street? A bit too long.

Going back to the Bush years(2001 to 2009) the Republican government was run more like a Fascist government. Governed by the few, secretive, and quick to censor and condemn any criticism. Hitler and Timothy McVey would feel most welcomed.

Has the class in Remedial Politics been filled? Do you have room for one more?

I hate to start the weekend this way but, it is often difficult to talk with someone who is Terminally clueless. However in this case it’s listen to someone who has no idea how life works. Listening to a guy who mindlessly talks a talk but has never walked the walk. You know, the Ted Baxter type from the Mary Tyler Moore show. Maybe more like Big Bird from Sesame Street. Just a guy with a head full of helium.

But anyway, I am talking about candidate Mit Romney. The supposed republican Party nominee for president. A man who wishes to relate to all Americans but only relates to George W Bush, the Koch Brothers, and the “Haves-More.”

Almost every time Mit is in public and speaking he swiftly inserts his foot in his mouth. He just can’t get it right. He has read the Great Gatsby too many times and it shows. Perhaps he should read more about John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, or Abe Lincoln. And Mit certainly has nothing in common with Ronald Reagan for sure.

The bigger question is why hasn’t the Republican advisors and handlers clued in Mit about politicking. Why does the RNC and the TEA party allow such public carelessness. My only guess is because the RNC and the TEA party are out of touch as well. Just a bunch of blank stares like deer in the headlights. Just stunned by reality. Inert bags of gas. All perpetual Farts, all of them.

Mit would make a better “Stay at home Dad” than a politician. Let’s all help him out. Vote Obama in November.

You talk too much. You worry me to death.

It’s the weekend and time to have a few friends over for the evening. A great time to rekindle friendships. So, you have a few of your closest friends over for snacks, drinks and conversation. But when you’re having fun time slips away. It’s getting late but conversation continues. And talk is not letting up. One topic begets another and the yapping seems endless into the late evening and on into the early morn. Consequently the clock on the wall is completely ignored for the sake of fun and sometimes interesting conversation.

However as talk continues, you and your guests get to the point where you are mindlessly repeating yourselves. Saying things you had covered earlier but might have forgotten. But to make conversation a bit more interesting, you slip in a little hyperbole or a half truth. Then conversation gets to the point you and your gests are saying things all of you have no idea what being said. Basically making things up. Just for the sake of continuing the conversation. Mostly silly nonsensical talk. Just Bla bla bla. Indicating it’s past time to send your guests home and you go to bed.

Now, here is my point. The very same thing happens with talk hosts on talk radio and late night talk TV. They get to the point where all available topics have been covered many times . Consequently the conversation must continue. Continue with hyperbole and half truths. Remember our conversation above? The same happens with talk radio and TV. In order to talk two or three hours a day, five days a week much of the conversation is packaged in processed baloney. Exaggerations, untruths, rumors, and manufactured dialogue.

And this is true with both conservative and liberal talk. You can only say so much without saying something contrived. Contrived for the sake of filling all the blank spaces. Filler words to prop up the conversation. Again, filler otherwise known as baloney. BS, horse shooie, and word crap. Stuff finally resulting in basic misinformation and “Tabloidism.”

And the bottom line in “Talk Radio” is to create controversy in order to sell advertising. Selling and making money is what Talk Radio is all about. Nothing else. It’s a business and no one cares how the money is made. Just bring it on. Say something stupid and make a buck. It’s as simple as that.

Talk Radio is worthless senseless ooze from the horses rear end. Never ever believe what you hear on Talk Radio. Radio the way it was not meant to be. Today’s talk radio has spiraled down into a black hole of empty rhetoric and hyperbole. Just basic cow splat on your living room floor.

Where’s Fibber McGee and Molly when we need them? We need basic entertainment. Not horse feathers. In the meantime, turn off the radio and TV. Talk radio is for hollow headed bimbos. Go get your newspaper and read.

Your word is as good as your Etch-a-sketch.

From the Republican Talking points handbook:
When in doubt just say what the voters want to hear. No matter if you said something different last week. Just make it up as you go along. No one will ever know where you get your information anyway. Just talk on the fly. The more BS the better.

Also be sure to bring your Etch-a-sketch. Just shake it up and let the ideas and words fly. No one will ever remember what you said last week. No one is really listening. No one really cares.

Posted by Mit Romney as a memo to himself.

Let's make it quick and sweet.

If I had only one wish granted by rubbing a magic Aladdin lamp it would be simple and humanitarian. Shorten the election season to only two weeks. Possibly even shorter. Please, have mercy on us. Life is hard enough as it is.

I love his smile and pretty hair. But, he's an idiot.

I am an older person born into a fundamental Christian faith. Never smoked, never drank or worse yet…, danced. Attending church at least three times a week with my parents and siblings.

But anyway, I would prefer a Christian believer in the Whitehouse. Not a Mormon. Yes, I too believe the LDS church to be a cult and not a pure Christian denomination. I absolutely believe there were no latter day saints. It’s just the way I was taught. Fundamental me.

And of course we are talking about Mit Romney. However, Mormonism is the least of his public problems. Flip-flopping and a besmircher of women might be his worse attributes. Not to mention his love for money and the people it brings to him. And add disdainer of public employees and the American automobile industry on top of that. Big Oil, Big Banks, Big Boxes, and Big mouth people is what Mit is drawn to. Plus the Koch Brothers and the major polluters of America. All of these guys are his financial supporters and sugar Daddies. And to say the least he is beholding to Big Money and its influence. But I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. Right?

All in all, Mit Romney is a walking Etch-a-sketch. He is all things to all people. He will say one thing one time and say the opposite the next. Just shake him up and watch him re-create his own image. “I am pro immigration and will sign the Dream Act.” And then he said, “ I would repeal the Dream Act when in office at the Whitehouse.” “I will produce good jobs.” However, he killed off many jobs as manager of his venture capitalist business. Sending many companies into bankruptcy after skimming off the profits.

Basically he has no idea what he is talking about. Mit just makes it up as he goes along. Mr. Etch-a-sketch. Flipping and flopping down the road. In total denial of reality. Captain Blowhard.

So if you value your Social Security and Medicare, a vote against Mit Romney will help preserve your retirement. Protect your health and education for your children and grandchildren. Vote no for Mr. Flip-a-ditty do.” Always remember, Mit Romney is against almost everything America has been and stood for. God Bless America.
