Just like right wing talk radio, left wing talk radio has to manufacture talking points as well. Expanding and inflating stories in order to fill a daily three hour program. It’s doesn’t matter if your are Bill O’Riely or Bill Press. Both have to put a little bloviating yeast into the mix. Making it bigger than it really ought to be. Just add a little bla bla bla and it will quickly rise to the top. Most often rise over the top.
Come on, try to host a 3-hour radio program, five days a week and you quickly run out of talking points. Saying the same thing repeatedly in one program. How many times can you rant about income taxes or reversing welfare reform in one daily talk show? You begin saying the same thing three or four times in one hour. Never mind dozens of times in one day.
Think about it. What more can you say about Mit Romney or President Obama that hasn’t been said by a hundred other talk radio hosts? Therefore, you have to resort to truth expansion. Exaggeration. White lies. Black lies. Hammering and personally attacking the opposition. Calling them every name in the book. Ideologues. Morons. Demigods. Idiots. Ignoramuses. Fatheads. Knuckle draggers. Meatheads. Blowhards. And, the list is completely endless. Are you following me?
My best advice is to put your radio in the closet and read the newspaper. And pretty soon, your disposition will improve. People will begin to say you must have had light therapy or are now taken Prozac. Talking nicer and smiling more often. Oh gee! He sounds like a human being again. See there?

Congress is being watched through a one-way mirror. If only they knew.
The single most people I disdain in America is, self-important Politicians. People wrapped in a shroud of smugness and pomposity. Politicians walking about with noses in the air, shoulders tossed back, and posturing in a pretense as if wearing a Superman cape. However, all brought to their knees in an instant by a derogatory Tweet if caught straying from the official party orthodoxy. Easy come. Easy go…down.
All of this aided and abetted by the so called liberal media. Only if there was such a thing. Fox and talk radio are not liberal. Much less media.
Never the less, politicians, for the most part, are subhuman and prey on innocent gullible people. People who have not the articulation to speak their own mind. Uneducated, shallow, and mostly dogma fearing evangelicals.
But anyway, I am speaking of politicians such as: John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Erick Cantor, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Lindsey Graham, Dick Cheney, Jim Inhofe, Tom Delay, Carl Rove, and the list is endless. Enough demigod bloviators to fill a smelly waste slue three times on any industrial hog farm.
If only there were some Fairy Dust or pesticide spray that could neutralize their plaster-of-Paris statuary on a pedestal personalities. Melting them down like wax feet held to the fire. Better yet, toss them all into the blazing oven of Congressional purgatory.
Anyway, the faster they go away, the better off we all shall be. America needs leadership. Not blood sucking politicians. Good night and good riddance.

Both sides now.
I consider myself a moderate. Taking the middle path. Looking at both sides of an issue is what I attempt to do. I am fair. I am balanced. I let each side give its case. Just blind justice at work. That’s me. A diehard moderate. “Stuck in the middle with you.”
So, I step back and allow both sides to demonstrate their respective arguments. So what is the upside and downside to each position? But in the final analysis I must make a decision. So having to make my choice, one side wins and one side loses. Finally, don’t blame me. I am just exercising common sense and logic. I am the rational voice. Mr. in between.
However, there are those who call my decision formula, bias. Favoring the opposition. Well, if that’s the way you think, then call me bias. Even though it was an honest attempt to make a rational decision. A decision based on what I and sometimes others think is right and fair.
So in the end, I come down in the middle. I am neither a vegetarian or a carnivore. I love my broccoli with pork roast. Veggie spaghetti sauce? Meat spaghetti sauce? I love them both. Red bell pepper or a Twinkie. Both seem fine to me.
I know it is better for one’s health to be a 100-percent vegetarian but look at all the great flavors one could be mission. If only there was a veggie stir fry that tasted like smoked beef ribs. Or, only if there was a triple bypass double cheese burger that had calorie and fat count that of steamed broccoli. Well, it doesn’t hurt to engage in wishful thinking. Does it?? But anyway, just eat everything in moderation. Count calories. A little of this. And a little of that. It’s only fair and balanced. Bon Apatite!
Now, where is my double cheese veggie burger??
